Protechnic Electrical Sdn Bhd is seeking a detail-oriented finance professional to handle the full set of accounts in daily operations, including AP/AR, GL, and monthly closing. You will monitor payments, payroll contributions, and tax compliance while maintaining proper financial records in line with Malaysian regulations.
The role requires 2–3 years of relevant accounting experience, a Diploma/Bachelor’s in accounting, and strong Excel/Accounting software skills.
Handle Full Set of Accounts in daily accounting operations, update data entry and ensure transactions recorded accurately and on a timely basis including:Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR),General Ledger (GL), Stock Movement data entry, Cash and Bank Reconciliation and monthly closing.
Monitor and prepare payment processing for the monthly fixed payment e.g term loan,rental, hire purchase installment, statutory payroll contribution i.e. EPF, Socso,HRDC, PCB, Income Tax, utilities and supplier etc.
To handling and checking expenses reimbursement staffs claims, payment vouchers, invoices and other financial documents.
Maintain proper filing and documentation of financial records to ensure compliance with Malaysian regulations.
Assist in payroll processing and statutory contributions (EPF, SOCSO, EIS) administration.
Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports and supporting schedules for management review.
Support external Finance Consultant and Tax Consultant by preparing required documentation and information for:Tax filing (e-invoice, income tax, SST, CP204), Annual audit,Statutory compliance submission.
Coordinate with banks and vendors on routine financial matters.
Assist in budget preparation, cost control and financial analysis, providing data support and reasonable suggestions for the company’s operational decisions.
Perform other ad-hoc finance and administrative tasks as assigned by management from time to time when required.
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related disciplines.
At least 2–3 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in Malaysian SME environment.
Good communication skills in English, BM, and Mandarin to liaise with mandarin stakeholder.
Basic understanding of Malaysian tax regulations and statutory requirements.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and accounting software.
Ability to work independently, self motivated, willing to learn and with minimal supervision and multi-tasking.
Monday-Friday: 8.30am to 5.30pm; Saturday: 8.30am – 1.00pm (Alternate)
