BAIDA INTERNATIONAL TRADE SDN. BHD. in Malaysia is seeking an Accounts Executive to support full-set accounting for our FMCG trading and distribution business in Sunway, Selangor.

You will handle daily accounting operations and contribute to monthly closings. The role requires a diploma or degree in accounting, at least two years of relevant experience (FMCG/trading advantageous), strong Excel skills, and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Experience in FMCG, trading, distribution or wholesale companies is advantageous.
• Proficient in full set accounting, AP, AR, GL and bank reconciliation.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good analytical, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
• Team player with positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Handle full set accounting and daily operations.
• Manage AP, AR and GL.
• Prepare invoices, credit notes, debit notes and payment documents.
• Record and maintain accurate accounting transactions.
• Perform bank reconciliation and supplier/customer account reconciliations.
• Monitor receivables and follow up on overdue payments.
• Assist with monthly close and management accounts.
• Maintain proper accounting records and documents.
• Assist with SST, tax, audit and statutory requirements.
• Liaise with customers, suppliers, auditors, tax agents and other relevant parties.

ACCOUNTS EXECUTIVE (FMCG / TRADING / DISTRIBUTION)

Location: Sunway, Selangor
Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary: RM3,000 – RM4,500 per month

About Us

We are an established FMCG importer and wholesaler specializing in food, snacks and beverages, supplying products to supermarkets, convenience stores, retail outlets and distributors across Malaysia.

Due to our business expansion, we are looking for a responsible, detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Executive to join our growing team.

Key Responsibilities

Handle full set accounting and daily accounting operations

Manage Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR) and General Ledger (GL)

Prepare invoices, credit notes, debit notes and payment documents

Record and maintain accurate accounting transactions

Perform bank reconciliation and supplier/customer account reconciliation

Monitor outstanding receivables and follow up with customers on overdue payments

Process supplier payments and reconcile supplier statements

Assist in monthly closing and preparation of management accounts

Maintain proper accounting records and supporting documents

Assist with SST, tax, audit and statutory requirements

Liaise with customers, suppliers, auditors, tax agents and other relevant parties

Assist management with financial and accounting-related reports

Perform other accounting duties and ad-hoc assignments as required

Requirements

Diploma / Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field

Minimum 2 years of relevant accounting experience

Candidates with experience in FMCG, trading, distribution or wholesale companies will have an added advantage

Familiar with full set accounting, AP, AR, GL and bank reconciliation

Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software

Good understanding of accounting principles and practices

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Good analytical, communication and problem-solving skills

Able to work independently with minimum supervision

Responsible, organized and able to meet deadlines
