We are looking for a Accounts Executive to manage the Company’s full set of accounts and support day-to-day financial operations. The role is responsible for financial reporting, cash flow management, inventory and product costing, statutory compliance, audit coordination, and providing financial information to support management decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- - Manage full set accounts, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), and Accounts Receivable (AR).
- - Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
- - Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices, payments, and expense claims.
- - Perform bank reconciliations and monitor daily cash flow.
- - Monitor inventory movements and ensure accurate product costing for trading activities.
- - Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
- - Liaise with internal departments, auditors, tax agents, vendors, and other external parties on financial matters.
- - Identify and resolve accounting discrepancies while ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and internal controls.
- - Prepare audit schedules and supporting documents for year-end audits.
- - Mentor and guide junior accounts staff when required.
- - Analyze financial data and provide relevant insights to support management decision-making.
- - Perform any other duties assigned by management from time to time.
Requirements
- -LCCI Higher / Diploma / Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- -Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a trading or distribution environment.
- -Strong knowledge and experience in full set accounting, GL, AP, AR, bank reconciliation, and financial reporting.
- -Experience in inventory accounting and product costing will be an advantage.
- -Familiarity with Malaysian statutory requirements, audit processes, and tax matters.
- -Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software such as SQL, AutoCount, UBS, or equivalent.
- -Good analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
- -Able to work independently, manage deadlines, and handle multiple tasks effectively.
- -Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with internal and external parties.
- -High level of integrity, accuracy, and confidentiality in handling financial information.
