Job summary

SENDO TRADING SDN. BHD. is hiring a finance professional to independently manage full-set accounts and daily financial operations in Semenyih, Selangor. The role includes corporate tax compliance, payroll submissions, and liaison with authorities.

You will work on month-end/year-end closings, financial reporting, and internal controls within an on-site, full-time setting. Mandarin communication with the China team is required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience independently handling full-set accounts for a Malaysian company.
• Experience with Malaysian corporate tax compliance and payroll submissions.
• Familiarity with e-Invoice and SST procedures.

Responsibilities

• Independently handle full-set accounts, including AP/AR, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
• Complete month-end and year-end closings, and prepare financial statements and management reports.
• Monitor cash flow, collections, payments, and expenses.
• Reconcile inventory records with purchasing, sales and warehouse data.
• Prepare corporate tax computations and monitor filing deadlines.
• Handle e-Invoice/SST processes and payroll submissions.

About the Role

SENDO TRADING SDN. BHD. is seeking an experienced finance professional to independently manage full-set accounts, daily financial operations and Malaysian tax compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Independently handle full-set accounts, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger and bank reconciliations.
• Complete month-end and year-end closing, and prepare financial statements and management reports.
• Monitor cash flow, customer collections, supplier payments and company expenses.
• Reconcile inventory records and product costs with purchasing, sales and warehouse records.
• Prepare corporate tax computations, tax estimates and supporting schedules, and monitor applicable filing and payment deadlines.
• Handle tax submissions within the company's authorised arrangements and identify matters requiring a licensed tax agent or other specialist.
• Manage applicable e-Invoice and SST processes, documentation and submissions.
• Process payroll and handle applicable EPF, SOCSO, EIS and PCB submissions and payments.
• Maintain organised accounting records and supporting documents.
• Liaise with relevant authorities, the company secretary and external professionals when required.
• Establish and improve accounting procedures and internal controls.

Requirements

• Proven experience independently handling full-set accounts for a Malaysian company.
• Practical experience in Malaysian corporate tax compliance and payroll statutory submissions.
• Familiarity with e-Invoice requirements and applicable SST procedures.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software such as AutoCount, SQL Accounting or equivalent.
• Ability to understand and speak Mandarin for regular verbal communication with our China-based team regarding invoices, payments and account reconciliations.
• Strong attention to detail, integrity and confidentiality.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Relevant accounting qualifications and experience in trading, wholesale or inventory-based businesses are preferred.
• Must have the right to work in Malaysia.
