Job summary

Simply Packaging Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking an Accounts Executive to process supplier invoices, employee claims, and payments, ensuring accuracy and timely settlement.

You will manage three-way matching, reconcile vendor statements, support month-end close, and maintain AP records while liaising with banks and internal teams. Eligibility requires a finance/accounting qualification, strong Excel skills, and good English communication; immediate availability is preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma/degree in Finance/Accounting or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of working experience in the related field (freshers encouraged).
• Must possess good Excel skills and communicate well in English.

Job description

Process supplier invoices, employee claims, and payment requests accurately and on time, including payments for factory and hostel rentals and other business expenses.

Verify supporting documents, ensure appropriate approvals are obtained, and match invoices against purchase orders (three-way matching, where applicable).

Prepare weekly payment runs and ensure the timely settlement of supplier payments.

Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies or payment-related issues promptly.

Maintain accurate and well-organised filing and documentation of Accounts Payable (AP) records.

Support month-end closing activities, including AP-related accruals and reporting.

Liaise with vendors and internal departments to resolve invoice and payment queries.

Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and audit requirements.

Assist with audit preparation by providing the necessary Accounts Payable documentation.

Assist in conducting monthly stock counts.

Requirement:

Candidate must possess at least a Diploma / Degree in Finance/Accounting , LCCI or equivalent with relevant experience.

At least 2 year(s) of working experience in the related filed but Freshers are also encouraged to apply ..

Responsible, committed and able to resolve issues and discrepancies independently.

Should be able to fill in bank forms and prepare cheques.

Possess good Excel skills.

Able to converse well inEnglish as the job involves communication with Banks and occasionally Foreign Clients.

Location: Puncak Alam

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
