Job summary

ALJ INDUSTRIES (M) SDN BHD is seeking an Accounts Executive to support full set of financial accounting and management reporting. You will liaise with customers, prepare debtor aging reports and assist with cash reimbursement and payment vouchers.

The role requires a Diploma or Degree in Accounting/Finance, 2–4 years of experience, and proficiency in MYOB. Mandarin communication skills are essential for interacting with Mandarin-speaking customers.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting/Finance or related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in Accounting/Finance preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Maintain full set of financial accounting and management reporting.
• Prepare monthly reconciliations including bank, AR and AP.
• Maintain documentation and filing for accounting entries.

Job description

Assist in maintaining full set of financial accounting and management reporting

Prepare accurate and timely monthly accounting reconciliations including bank reconciliations, AR and AP reconciliations

Ensure proper maintenance of documentation and filing to support all accounting entries

Liaise with customers and prepare debtor aging reports and debtor monthly statements

Prepare reports and assist with cash reimbursement on monthly basis, issue payment vouchers, petty cash vouchers, official receipts and staff claims

Assist in fixed asset register and stock maintenance

Issuance of DN & CN

Monitor debtors aging reports and prompt collection and payment to monthly financial obligations

Assist to coordinate year end auditing and stock take audit

Support other annual activities such as statutory audit, corporate income tax filing, annual budget and internal projects

Qualification

Minimum Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field

Preferably 2-4 years of experience specializing in Accounting or Finance or equivalent

Good interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to form good teamwork and with a positive working attitude

Computer literate and familiar with MYOB Accounting systems

Strong ability to work independently under tight deadlines

Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills

Able to communicate in Mandarin with Mandarin-speaking customers.
