Job summary

YORU TECH SDN.BHD. is seeking an Account Executive to manage daily accounting and financial transactions, maintaining accurate records and supporting financial reporting.

The role collaborates with internal departments, customers, suppliers, and external parties to ensure timely accounting operations. Ideal candidates hold a Diploma or Bachelor's in Accounting and have 2–3 years of accounting experience, with Mandarin proficiency and knowledge of Malaysian tax regulations.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• 2–3 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Mandarin proficiency required, both written and spoken.
• Knowledge of Malaysian tax regulations (SST, income tax).
• Familiar with full set accounts and accounting software such as SQL or Autocount.

Responsibilities

• Handle daily accounting transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable and general ledger.
• Prepare invoices, payment vouchers, receipts and other accounting documents.
• Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash transactions.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records.
• Assist with monthly closing and preparation of financial reports.
• Monitor customer outstanding balances and follow up on collections.
• Process supplier invoices and coordinate payment arrangements.
• Prepare and submit relevant statutory and financial documentation.
• Assist with budgeting, cash flow monitoring and financial analysis.
• Verify expenses, claims and supporting documents.

The Account Executive is responsible for managing daily accounting and financial transactions, maintaining accurate accounting records and supporting the Company's financial reporting and compliance requirements. The position works closely with internal departments, customers, suppliers and external parties to ensure timely and accurate accounting operations.

Key responsibilities

Handle daily accounting transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable and general ledger

Prepare invoices, payment vouchers, receipts and other accounting documents

Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash transactions

Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records

Assist with monthly closing and preparation of financial reports

Monitor customer outstanding balances and follow up on collections

Process supplier invoices and coordinate payment arrangements

Prepare and submit relevant statutory and financial documentation

About you

Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field

Minimum 2–3 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment

Proficiency in Mandarin is required, both written and spoken, to effectively communicate and liaise with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders, customers, suppliers and business partners

Good knowledge of full-set accounting principles is an advantage

Familiar with full set accounts and accounting software (e.g. SQL, Autocount, or others)

Knowledge of Malaysian tax regulations (e.g. SST, income tax) is required

Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel

Good analytical, numerical and problem-solving skills
