Job summary

QL Figo (Johor) Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a detail-oriented accounting professional to manage manufacturing order variance analysis, update standard product costs, and ensure accurate inventory valuation across all materials, WIP, and finished goods.

The role involves coordinating with production, procurement, logistics, and sales teams, supporting monthly closings, and contributing to budgets and SST submissions. Fluent English, Malay, and Mandarin are advantageous.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance or professional certificate.
• Minimum 2 years of working experience in manufacturing industry.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills and familiarity with ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform manufacturing order variance analysis for standard vs actual.
• Update and maintain standard product costs for all SKUs on a timely basis.
• Perform regular stock counts and reconciliations to ensure data accuracy.
• Maintain accurate costing for all materials, WIP, and finished goods.
• Participate in monthly financial closings, ensuring COGS data is accurate and complete.
• Prepare monthly cost analysis by division, inventory valuation, and SST exemption reports.
• Assist in preparing annual budgets and periodic forecasts.
• Handle SST submissions and support corporate tax computations if required.
• Liaise with internal and external auditors and tax agents; prepare audit schedules and respond to queries.

You will collaborate cross-functionally with production, procurement, logistics, and sales teams to align financial data with operational activities, participate in monthly financial closings, and support corporate reporting and tax submissions.

About you
