Junior Executive

Responsibilities

• Financial record keeping: maintain and update financial records, including income, expenses, assets, and liabilities.
• Financial statement preparation: prepare key financial documents such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements to provide a clear picture of the organization’s financial health.
• Budgeting and forecasting: help the organization manage its budgets, monitor expenses, and forecast future financial performance.
• Tax compliance: ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations, prepare tax returns, and provide tax planning advice.
• Auditing: conduct internal or external audits to verify the accuracy and reliability of financial records.
• Financial analysis: analyze financial data to identify trends, assess risks, and provide insights for business decision-making.
• Advisory services: offer guidance on financial matters, including investment decisions, risk management, and business strategy.

Requirements

• Educational background: hold a Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting from a reputable university.
• Work experience: approximately 5 years of finance/cost accounting work experience, with more than 2 years in a costing-related area. Manufacturing industry experience is highly preferred.
• Language proficiency: fluent in Chinese, English, and Malaysian, both in speaking and writing.
• Software skills: experience with SAP BI, ERP (e.g., Oracle, SAP) software.
• Interpersonal skills: a team player with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Working hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 AM to 05:00 PM.
