Visko Industries Sdn Bhd is seeking an Assistant Accounts Manager to oversee daily accounting operations, month-end closing and financial reporting. You will guide and supervise the accounts team to ensure accuracy and timely completion of tasks while supporting budgeting, P&L analysis and cash flow management.
The role requires a degree in accounting/finance, manufacturing accounting experience, and proficiency in Excel, NAV, and MRP systems.

Key responsibilities
Manage daily accounting operations, month-end closing and financial reporting, ensuring all reports are accurate and submitted on time
Guide, lead and supervise the accounts team to ensure work efficiency, accuracy and timely completion of tasks
Prepare financial forecasts, budgets and Profit & Loss (P&L) analysis to support management planning and decision-making
Monitor financial matters, cash flow, working capital and payment commitments
Support P&L preparation through product costing, cost analysis, variance monitoring and cost-control activities
Monitor factory inventory, material movement, usage and wastage; improve inventory data entry accuracy and stock control processes
Monitor and improve manufacturing and accounting system processes to enhance efficiency, data accuracy and reporting effectiveness
Prepare management reports and monitor financial and operational performance
Handle credit control, outstanding receivables and other financial matters
Undertake ad hoc projects and process improvement initiatives as assigned by management
About you
Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field, or an equivalent professional qualification
Relevant accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
Knowledge of full-set accounts, costing, inventory control, budgeting and cash flow management
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, especially formulas, data analysis and reporting
Familiar with accounting NAV software and manufacturing MRP systems
Strong analytical, problem-solving, leadership and communication skills
Responsible, organised and able to work independently under tight deadlines
Willing to learn, adapt to changes and continuously improve work processes
Willing to travel to Port Klang Free Zone, Pulau Indah occasionally for monthly stock-take
