We are seeking a responsible and hands-on Accounts & Admin Assistant to support our day-to-day finance operations and general office administration.
This role is primarily focused on Accounts, and is suitable for someone with good basic accounting knowledge who is organised, detail-oriented, proactive and able to work independently.
Handle day-to-day accounting transactions including AP, AR, invoicing, payments and bookkeeping.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records and supporting documents.
Monitor outstanding receivables and actively follow up on collections and payment status.
Handle supplier payments, staff claims, petty cash and bank reconciliation.
Assist with e-Invoice, SST and relevant government/statutory matters.yes
Assist with month-end/year-end closing, audit and tax documentation.
Prepare weekly accounts reports covering billing, collections, payments and outstanding matters.
Highlight and follow up on pending issues until completion.
Handle general office administration, documentation and filing.
Monitor office cleanliness, facilities, stationery, pantry supplies and general office amenities.
Coordinate with cleaners, building management, suppliers and service providers as required.
Assist with office purchasing, renewals and other general administrative matters.
Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
Preferably 2–4 years of relevant accounting experience, ideally within an SME or similar business environment.
Good understanding of basic accounting principles and double-entry bookkeeping.
Hands-on knowledge of general ledger, AP, AR, invoicing, collections and bank reconciliation.
Knowledge of e-Invoice, SST and statutory requirements will be an added advantage.
Experience with SQL Accounting Software will be an added advantage.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
Good organisational, communication and follow-up skills.
Hands-on, responsible, proactive and able to work independently.
Candidates who are available immediately or within a short notice period will have an added advantage.
Salary will be commensurate with relevant years of experience, accounting knowledge, skills and overall suitability for the role.
