Job summary

Omnicom Media Asia Pacific in Petaling Jaya is looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to support the Finance Department in managing accounts receivable and other accounting functions. This position requires strong numerical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced media advertising environment.

The ideal candidate should hold a Professional Certificate or Diploma in Accounting or Finance and have at least 1-2 years of relevant experience. Proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia, English, and Mandarin is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum Professional Certificate/Diploma in a relevant field.
• 1-2 years of accounting or account administration experience.
• Hands-on experience with MS Excel.

Responsibilities

• Perform 3rd party matching.
• Conduct AR collection.
• Create monthly media spending and WIP reports.
• Track monthly trading deals and pacing reports.
• Assist with E-invoicing.
• Support local and global reporting.
• Assist with yearly and client audits.

Responsibilities

• Perform 3rd party matching
• AR Collection
• Monthly Media spending + WIP reports
• Monthly trading deal tracker & pacing report
• Assist on E-invoicing
• Adhoc Local & Regional/ Global reporting
• Assist the team on yearly audit and clients audit

Requirements

• Minimum Professional Certificate/Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• At least 1-2 years of experience in accounting or account administration, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
• Hands-on experience with MS Excel and accounting software.
• Strong attention to detail, ability to work independently with minimal supervision, and a sense of urgency in responding to tasks.
• Proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia, English, and Mandarin is required.
