MoneyMax (Southern) Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a qualified accounting professional to manage full sets of accounts, monthly and yearly closings, and daily financial operations in Johor Bahru.

The role requires 3–5 years' relevant experience, diploma level education, and proficiency in MS Excel/Word. Mandarin proficiency is preferred to communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients. Responsabilidades

• Responsible for full sets of accounts monthly and yearly accounts closing.
• Maintain journal entries and prepare for reconciliation reports.
• Daily accounting operations; ensure compliance with company policies and statutory requirements.
• Oversee the organization’s financial accounting systems, structures, processes and internal controls.
• Ensure timely and accurate submission of monthly financial reports and returns in compliance with accounting standards.
• Liaise with bankers, tax agents, internal auditors and external auditors.
• Any other ad-hoc assignments as required.

Responsible for full sets accounts monthly and yearly accounts closing

Maintain journal entries and prepare for reconciliation reports

Responsible for the daily accounting operations and to ensure compliance with the Company policies and statutory requirements or guidelines

Oversee the organization’s financial accounting systems, structures, process flows, procedures and current internal policies, system and control

Ensure timely & accurate submission of monthly financial reports and other return in compliance with accounting standards

Liaise with bankers, tax agents, internal auditors and external auditors

Any other ad-hoc assignments as and when required

Requirements

Candidate must possess at least Diploma Advanced, Higher in Finance, Accountancy, Banking or equivalent

Preferable at least 3 - 5 years of relevant experience in the Accounting or Finance industry

Must be computer literate – MS Excel and MS Word

Able to work independently with minimum supervision

Committed with a strong sense of responsibility and task-oriented

A team player with good planning, coordination and problem-solving skills

Process good interpersonal skills, self-motivated, proactive and positive

Knowledge of Autocount or other accounting software is an added advantage

Required languages: English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin. We are seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.
