Job summary

Bcb Berhad, Malaysia, is seeking an experienced Accounts Executive to manage full sets of accounts, post transactions and handle day-to-day accounting activities.

The role requires Mandarin-speaking candidates with a Diploma in Finance/Accountancy/Banking and 2–5 years of Audit/Tax/Accounting experience. Responsibilities include bank reconciliation, month-end close, tax filings, and supporting audits.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent.
• 2–5 years of Audit/Tax/Accounting experience in professional firm or related industry preferred.
• Mandarin-speaking candidates to serve Mandarin-speaking customers.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accounting ledgers by posting account transactions.
• Manage full set of accounts and day-to-day accounting tasks.
• Handle and verify staff claims and department petty cash reimbursements.
• Perform bank reconciliation, month-end schedules and journals; ensure proper accounting and tax filling records.
• Assist in audit and tax preparation.

Maintains accounting ledgers by posting account transactions

Manage full set of accounts

Handle and verify staff claim and all department petty cash reimbursement.

Responsible for bank reconciliation, prepare month end schedules and journals, ensure proper accounting and tax filling records

Verification of accounting documents such as payment voucher, TT payments, Journal voucher and other related documents.

Perform month end and year end closing.

Perform day to day accounting & costing functions, month-end closing and reporting

Ensure timely and accurate submission of reports.

Assist in audit and tax preparation

Able to perform company assignments, reports, analysis and ad hoc functions and related duties when required

Requirement:

Candidate must possess at least Diploma in Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent.

Minimum 2-5 years Audit/Tax/Accounting working experience in professional firm or related industry field is preferred

Required Skill(s):

Preferably Junior Executive specialized in Finance - General/Cost Accounting or equivalent.
