About the role

This full-time Accounts Assistant role is an exciting opportunity to join the dynamic finance team at Asbenz Motors Sdn Bhd, based in Sungai Petani, Kedah. As an Accounts Assistant, you will play a crucial part in supporting the overall accounting operations of the organisation.

What you'll be doing

Performing accounts payable and receivable tasks, including invoice processing, reconciliation, and vendor management

Assisting with the preparation of monthly financial statements and reports

Maintaining accurate accounting records and filing systems

Providing administrative support to the finance team as required

Collaborating cross-functionally to ensure the timely and accurate completion of financial tasks

What we're looking for

Minimum 2 years of experience in an accounts assistant or similar role, preferably within the automotive industry

Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and procedures

Proficient in using accounting software and Microsoft Office applications

Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Ability to work well in a team and prioritise tasks effectively

Good communication and interpersonal skills
