LEDGEN Malaysia Sdn Bhd invites applications for an Accounts Assistant to support the Shared Service Center’s accounting operations. You will handle day-to-day financial transactions, month-end activities, and client deliverables with precision while collaborating with internal stakeholders.
The ideal candidate has a Diploma/ Degree in Accounting or is pursuing professional qualifications, with fresh graduates welcome and 1 year of experience advantageous. Proficiency in MS Office is essential.

The Accounts Assistant will support the Shared Service Center’s accounting operations by handling day-to-day financial transactions, month-end activities, and client deliverables. The role requires strong attention to detail, discipline in meeting deadlines, and the ability to work independently while collaborating with internal stakeholders.
Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline (or currently pursuing professional accounting qualifications).
Fresh graduates are welcome to apply; candidates with at least 1 year of relevant experience will have an advantage.
Familiarity with accounting software is an advantage.
Strong computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications are essential.
Accounting & Financial Operations
Record and maintain accurate accounting transactions, including receipts, payments, payables, receivables, accruals, adjustments, and bank reconciliations.
Assist in the timely preparation of full sets of accounts, including weekly, month-end, and year-end closing.
Prepare supporting schedules such as Accounts Receivable and Payable aging, Fixed Assets, and notes to accounts.
Assist in the preparation of audit and tax schedules for year-end finalisation.
Treasury & Billing Support
Monitor and update client cash flow and trust accounts, ensuring accurate recording of inflows and outflows.
Prepare payment and receipt vouchers, and ensure all supporting documents and approvals are properly filed.
Ensure prompt billing of services rendered and follow up on outstanding receivables.
Ensure all jobs, assignments, and out-of-pocket expenses (OPEs) are captured and billed on a timely basis.
Client & Stakeholder Support
Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, company secretaries, and other professionals on audit, tax, and statutory matters.
Maintain proper documentation and filing of client records and accounting documents.
Acknowledge client requests, queries, or correspondence within 24 hours and respond within two working days.
Build and maintain professional working relationships with clients to support service quality and client satisfaction.
Internal Coordination & Reporting
Provide regular updates and reports to senior executives, managers, and directors as required.
Coordinate effectively with other internal teams and divisions within the Group.
Assist and provide guidance to junior staff on accounting and work-related matters, when required.
Perform any other duties assigned by Management from time to time.
