Job summary

Private Advertiser in Selangor invites a versatile Basic Accounting cum HR professional to join on a full-time basis, blending essential bookkeeping with people operations to support our organisation.

You will manage financial records, payroll, GL, bank reconciliations, and vendor queries while assisting recruitment, onboarding, and HR compliance.

The role requires a diploma or degree in Accounting/Finance/HR, 2–4 years of relevant experience, and proficiency in Excel and accounting software.

Qualifications

Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources or a related field.
2–4 years of experience in bookkeeping or basic accounting within a business environment.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.

Responsibilities

Recording and maintaining accurate financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable.
Preparing bank reconciliations and managing petty cash.
Processing payroll and ensuring accurate salary calculations and deductions.
Maintaining general ledger accounts and preparing trial balances.
Assisting with the preparation of financial statements and management reports.
Supporting recruitment activities, including job posting and candidate screening.
Maintaining employee records and ensuring compliance with employment regulations.
Processing employee leave requests and managing attendance records.
Assisting with staff onboarding and offboarding procedures.
Supporting HR administration tasks including benefits and performance documentation.
Liaising with relevant authorities on employment and tax matters.
Maintaining confidentiality of financial and personnel information.
