Job summary

Private Advertiser in Johor, Malaysia seeks an experienced Accounts & HR Executive to support both finance and people functions at our Johor operations. This hands-on role handles accounting matters independently while also managing routine HR and office administration.

The candidate will oversee full set accounts, AP/AR, GL, cash flow, bank reconciliation, and monthly reports, and will assist with payroll processing, statutory matters, recruitment, onboarding, and documentation.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, HR, Business or a related discipline.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience, preferably with exposure to both full set accounting and HR functions.
• Good understanding of Malaysian accounting practices and statutory requirements.
• Familiar with Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Independent, organised and detail-oriented with good follow-up skills.
• Able to handle multiple responsibilities and work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Take charge of the company’s full set of accounts and daily accounting activities.
• Manage AP, AR, general ledger, cash flow and bank reconciliation.
• Prepare monthly accounts, reports and supporting schedules.
• Process invoices, payments, receipts and collections.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Work with auditors, tax agents, banks and other external parties when required.
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure statutory requirements are met.
• Support both HR and office administration activities as part of the role.
• Support recruitment activities, interviews and new employee onboarding.
• Prepare employment letters and other HR-related documentation.
• Oversee general office matters such as purchasing, supplies and administrative documentation.
