Sanji Daily Sdn Bhd is looking for a responsible, detail-oriented and proactive Accounts cum Admin Assistant to join our team.
The successful candidate will provide day-to-day support for the Company's accounting, finance and administrative functions, ensuring that accounting records, documentation and office administration are properly maintained and handled efficiently.
Assist with day-to-day accounting activities, including Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
Perform accurate accounting data entry, checking and reconciliation of financial transactions.
Maintain and update accounting records, ledgers, schedules and financial documentation in accordance with Company policies and procedures.
Process and verify invoices, receipts, payment documents and expense claims, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Prepare Payment Vouchers (PV) and related supporting documents.
Perform bank reconciliation and assist in investigating and resolving discrepancies.
Assist in preparing monthly accounting schedules, financial reports and other accounting-related reports.
Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
Assist with SST, e-Invoice and other statutory or tax-related documentation, where required.
Prepare and provide supporting documents and information to the accounting firm, auditors, tax agents, company secretary and other professional advisers.
Ensure all accounting records and supporting documents are properly filed, maintained and readily available for audit and review purposes.
Follow up on outstanding accounting matters and assist in resolving discrepancies or documentation issues.
Maintain proper confidentiality of financial and company information.
Provide comprehensive day-to-day administrative support to the Company and management.
Assist in scheduling meetings, managing calendars and coordinating appointments for management.
Handle general office administration, including correspondence, filing, documentation and record keeping.
Maintain proper organisation of company documents, records and administrative files.
Monitor office supplies and inventory, and coordinate with suppliers and vendors for procurement when required.
Maintain records of company assets, office equipment and related documentation.
Assist with HR-related administrative matters, including payroll processing, attendance records, employee documentation and onboarding.
Coordinate with internal departments and external parties to facilitate smooth day-to-day operations.
Assist in improving and streamlining accounting and administrative processes and procedures.
Prepare reports, documents and other administrative materials as assigned.
Perform other accounting, administrative and operational duties as assigned by Management from time to time.
Minimum 2 years of working experience in accounting, finance, administration or a related field.
Relevant qualification in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related discipline.
Can communicate well in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
Must be able to speak Mandarin fluently and able to read and write Chinese.
Good working knowledge of accounting software and Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel.
Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy and numerical competency.
Good organisational, communication and interpersonal skills.
Able to handle confidential information responsibly.
Good problem-solving skills with a proactive and practical approach.
Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Responsible, organised, hardworking and able to meet deadlines.
