Job summary

JUB PACIFIC PTE LTD in Malaysia is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to manage financial reporting, monthly management accounts, month-end closing, cash flow projections and statutory compliance. You will ensure accurate records, maintain internal controls, and coordinate with external auditors and tax agents.

The role supports finance process improvements and ERP migration, requiring strong English and Chinese communication, and the ability to work independently while meeting multiple

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; professional qualifications are an advantage.
• 5 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Oil and gas experience preferred but not essential.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, standards and tax compliance.
• Proficient in Excel and accounting systems; ERP experience advantageous.
• Good communication and ability to meet multiple deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Handle the full set of accounts from daily transactions to month end closing and preparation of management accounts and financial reports.
• Manage month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Review general ledger entries, reconciliations and supporting schedules.
• Prepare and submit quarterly GST returns, ensuring timely filing under statutory requirements.
• Monitor cash flow and prepare cash flow projections.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax and statutory requirements.
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax agents and company secretaries.
• Strengthen internal controls and improve finance processes and SOPs.
• Support ERP implementation or migration and other finance projects.
