Job summary

BIB Insurance Brokers Sdn Bhd in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Corporate Executive to provide effective support to the Broking division, handle routine inquiries, and manage client expectations on servicing issues such as claims, quotations, and policy coverage.

You will aim to meet renewal targets, develop cross-sell opportunities, ensure timely billings, review client files for adequate covers, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum academic qualification with Diploma/Degree/AMII or equivalent.
• Minimum working experience of 1/2 years in General Insurance and/or related fields.
• Strong understanding and excellent knowledge of current General Insurance Landscape.

Responsibilities

• Provide effective support to the Broking division and handle routine inquiries.
• Manage client expectations on servicing issues such as claims, quotations, policy coverage.
• Meet renewal business targets and drive organic growth and cross-sell upsell opportunities.
• Ensure all billings are raised within 14 days from policy issuance.
• Review client files regularly, analyse scope of cover required and check adequacy of existing covers.
• Monitor documentation backing to back office for timeliness, accuracy and compliance.
• Ensure premium collection within the premium warranty period of 60 days.
• Attend to all customer requests promptly and accurately; perform other duties as instructed by management.

Job description

To provide effective support services to the Broking division.

Handling routine inquiries and transactions concerning clients and managing clients’ expectations related to servicing issues such as claims, quotations, policy coverage, etc.

To meet individual Renewal Business brokerage and organic growth business target set by management.

To build and maintain close rapport with clients and to work on referral program with customers to ensure effective cross sell and upsell activities or New Business activities.

Ensure all billings are raised within 14 days from policy issuance.

To attend to all customer requests and concerns promptly and accurately, review client files regularly, analyse and identify scope of cover required and check adequacy of existing covers.

To monitor all documentation provided to back office are timely, accurate and complete and fulfil all the compliance and regulatory requirements.

To ensure premium collection within premium warranty period of 60 days.

To perform any other duties as instructed by management.

Job Requirement

Presentable with good communication skills, written and spoken

Understanding of current General Insurance Landscape

Proficient in IT/Computer knowledge

Ability to manage deadlines and multiple cross functional initiatives effectively
