Responsibilities

• Provide motor insurance quotations to customers purchasing new and/or used vehicles
• Explain insurance coverage, premiums, excesses, add-ons and policy terms clearly to customers
• Follow up with customers to convert insurance quotations into policies
• Identify opportunities to increase insurance take-up among dealership customers
• Maintain strong relationships with customers to encourage insurance renewals and repeat business
• Achieve agreed monthly insurance sales and revenue targets
• Monitor upcoming policy expiries and proactively contact customers for renewal
• Prepare and provide competitive renewal quotations
• Assist customers with motor insurance claims and guide them through the required process
• Process insurance applications, renewals, endorsements and related documentation accurately

This role involves providing motor insurance quotations to customers purchasing new and/or used vehicles, explaining insurance coverage, premiums, excesses, add-ons and policy terms clearly to customers, and following up with customers to convert insurance quotations into policies.

Explain insurance coverage, premiums, excesses, add-ons and policy terms clearly to customers

Follow up with customers to convert insurance quotations into policies

Identify opportunities to increase insurance take-up among dealership customers

Maintain strong relationships with customers to encourage insurance renewals and repeat business

Requirements

* Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Insurance, Finance, Automotive, Sales or a related field.

* Previous experience in motor insurance, automotive dealerships, insurance sales or a related field is preferred.

* Candidates with relevant insurance industry experience are strongly encouraged to apply.

* Good understanding of motor insurance products and claims processes.

* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

* Customer-oriented with good follow-up skills.

* Sales-driven and comfortable working towards targets.

* Strong attention to detail and ability to handle documentation accurately.

* Good organisational and time-management skills.

* Comfortable using Microsoft Office and/or relevant dealership or insurance systems.

* Able to communicate effectively in English and Malay. Mandarin will be a bonus.

* Ability to work independently while coordinating effectively with different departments.
