About The Role

We are looking for a motivated Business Development Manager (Broking) to join our team at RHB Insurance Berhad. In this role, you’ll strategize, manage, grow, and retain premium production for the assigned section. You will also be responsible for developing business opportunities through brokers and corporate clients while enhancing service effectiveness to create a competitive advantage.

What You Will Be Doing

• Assist in planning, executing, and monitoring the achievement of budget objectives (expenses and production targets) as well as marketing strategies, including:
• Closely track monthly performance to ensure achievement of business growth and production targets based on planned strategies, and formulate contingency plans where necessary.
• Plan and manage visitation schedules to ensure adequate and impactful engagement and support within the allocated budget.
• Coordinate the implementation of marketing strategies with branches and business units.
• Identify and develop strategic business opportunities and reciprocal partnerships.
• Formulate, execute, and evaluate marketing activities and campaigns.
• Conduct regular meetings with internal stakeholders (e.g. Underwriting) to ensure targeted accounts are managed in a timely manner, with the objective of securing production, renewals, and business retention.

What We’re Looking For

• A degree or professional qualification from an institution recognized by the Government of Malaysia.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the general insurance industry.
• Professional insurance qualification will be an added advantage.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Good contact network.
• Good relationship‑building and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong presentation and negotiation skills.
• Self‑motivated, proactive, and results‑oriented.
