You will assist clients, prepare presentations for potential clients, collaborate with senior brokers and underwriters, and help maintain client databases in line with regulatory requirements. Fresh graduates are welcome; Fluent English and Mandarin/Cantonese are valued for regional engagement.

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Junior Broking Executive to join the team at Specialty Broking Limited. This is a full-time position based in our Bangsar, Kuala Lumpur office. In this role, you will be at the intersection of brokerage operations and support.

Key responsibilities

• Provide support to existing clients, responding to queries and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction
• Prepare and deliver presentations to potential clients, highlighting the value proposition of our brokerage services
• Collaborate with senior brokers and underwriters to understand market needs and translate these into effective marketing campaigns
• Maintain and update client databases and records in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements
• Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for business growth
• Assist in the preparation of quotes, proposals, and documentation required for brokerage transactions
• Contribute to the organisation and execution of industry events, seminars, and networking activities
• Support the development of marketing materials, including brochures, presentations, and digital content

What we're looking for

• A relevant qualification or certification in insurance, Business Studies, Actuarial, brokerage, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with clients and internal stakeholders
• Excellent organisational and time management abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple priorities
• A proactive and results-driven mindset with a genuine interest in growing the business
• Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office applications
• Knowledge of the Malaysian insurance market and regulatory environment
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in all documentation
• Strong verbal and written communication in English. profession in Mandarin speaking and/or Cantonese is essential for regional market engagement.
• Bachelor's degree in insurance, Business, Marketing, Actuarial Science, Finance or related field.
• 0-2 years of experience in insurance, reinsurance or related industry (fresh graduates encourage to apply).
