Job summary

Konsep Karisma Sdn Bhd seeks a responsible Account Executive to manage day-to-day accounting and maintain a complete set of accounts. The role covers AP/AR, general ledger, cash book, and e-invoice, with responsibility for accurate financial records and timely reporting.

Based in Alor Gajah, Malaysia, the company has a long-standing focus on town planning consultancy since 1994, delivering high-quality planning projects and sustainable urban solutions.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• 2–3 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Good knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Familiarity with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Experience in handling bank reconciliation, AP, AR and month-end closing.
• Good understanding of Malaysian statutory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Handle the full set of accounts including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, cash book & e-invoice.
• Record and maintain accurate accounting transactions and supporting documentation.
• Prepare and process invoices, payment vouchers, receipts and other accounting documents.
• Monitor customer and supplier accounts, including outstanding balances and payment status.
• Perform daily/monthly bank reconciliation and ensure all transactions are properly recorded.
• Prepare monthly management accounts, including Profit & Loss Statement and Balance Sheet.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Prepare and submit statutory payments and relevant financial information, including EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB and SST, where applicable.
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, banks and other relevant parties when required.
• Assist in audit and tax preparation and provide the necessary supporting documents.

Konsep Karisma Sdn Bhd is seeking a responsible and detail-oriented Account Executive to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the company's day-to-day accounting operations and maintaining a complete and accurate set of accounts.

Key responsibilities

Handle and maintain the full set of accounts, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, cash book & e-invoice.

Record and maintain accurate accounting transactions and supporting documentation.

Prepare and process invoices, payment vouchers, receipts and other accounting documents.

Monitor customer and supplier accounts, including outstanding balances and payment status.

Perform daily/monthly bank reconciliation and ensure all transactions are properly recorded.

About you

Good knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.

Familiarity with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

Experience in handling bank reconciliation, AP, AR and month-end closing.

Good understanding of Malaysian statutory requirements.

Good work ethics, integrity and a high level of trustworthiness.

Strong attention to detail, accuracy and good organisational skills.

Able to work independently and meet deadlines.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Fresh graduates with relevant qualifications may also be considered, depending on experience and suitability.
