Job summary

JT CEMERLANG SDN BHD in Sabah, Malaysia, is seeking a diligent Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting and finance operations for our established building construction company.

You will prepare and maintain records, handle accounts payable and receivable, perform bank reconciliations, assist with month-end close, payroll entries, and ensure timely tax and statutory submissions. This role offers exposure to on-site projects and growth opportunities within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• At least 2 years of relevant accounting experience preferred.
• Experience in construction industry accounting is an advantage.
• Familiar with full set accounts and accounting software.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Knowledge of Malaysian tax, SST, EPF, SOCSO, EIS and PCB is an advantage.
• Meticulous, responsible and able to meet deadlines.
• Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
