Job summary

Liberty General Insurance Berhad in Malaysia is seeking a Bancassurance Sales Manager to lead regional sales, develop local strategies, and secure opportunities from banks. You will coach bankers, train staff, and drive bancassurance activities across HQ and regional offices.

The role requires 2–5 years in Bancassurance within General Insurance products, strong relationship skills, and the ability to build a high-performing team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, banking, insurance, actuarial science, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Achieve region sales target and productivity as assigned by management.
• Develop and implement local sales and marketing strategies; identify and secure bank opportunities.
• Monitor team sales performance and coach when necessary.
• Build strong relationships with bankers.
• Train new and existing bankers.
• Execute HQ and region bancassurance activities.
• Respond to requests from customers, banks, HQ.
• Ensure effective administration of day-to-day operations per SOP across support functions.
• Submit reports requested by management and bankers in a timely manner.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and laws.
• Assemble and empower a high performing team.
• Communicate key imperatives and directions clearly and timely.

• Monitor team’s sales performance results and engaged in timely coaching session when necessary.
• Responsible to build strong and positive business relationship with bankers
• Continuous effort to train new & existing banker.
• To execute HQ & region office bancassurance activities.
• Respond to various requests including ad hoc from customers/bank/HQ

• Ensure effective and efficient administration of day to day business operations in line with SOP across all support functions.
• Ensure all reports requested by Management & bankers are submitted timely.

• Ensure compliance with regulations and laws

• Assemble and empower a high performing team.
• Ensure regular communication of key imperatives & directions of the company are communicated clearly, effectively & timely.

Job Requirement

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, Banking, Insurance, Actuarial Science, or a related discipline

2–5 years of relevant experience in:
