We're Hiring: Account cum HR (Mandarin Speaker)!
Our client is an international corporate advisory and business services provider headquartered in Singapore. They provide a one-stop suite of corporate solutions for local and international clients, specializing in company registration, corporate secretarial services, accounting, tax filing, payroll, and advisory services.
Job Description:
A) Accounting:
- Mainly responsible for a portfolio of client accounts
- Account Reporting - maintaining a full set of accounts, preparation of unaudited/audited financial statement for internal and company's clients.
- Book-keeping - entry into accounting system: sales & purchase invoices, expenses, capital expenditure, staff claims and preparation of monthly bank reconciliation.
- Handle customers' request and feedback.
- Ensure timely and accurate submission for tax and XBRL filling for company's clients.
- To execute a portfolio of accounting clients under guidance of senior staff.
- High discipline in following company procedures and policies.
- Any other ad-hoc duties and jobs assigned by superiors.
B) HR Support:
- Manage monthly payroll processing for clients and assist in the application of statutory accounts such as EPF, SOCSO amd MyTax Portal.
- Liaise with relevant government agencies and local authorities as required.
- Address clients' HR-related inquiries and provide regular updates on changes in Malaysia's labor legislation and statutory requirements.
- Drive business development efforts to increase the number of external payroll clients, including identifying leads, following up with prospects and supporting onboarding of new clients.
Requirements:
- Minimum Bachelor Degree in Finance/Accounting or Professional Accounting Qualification.
- At least 2-3 years experience in accounting firm. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply. Candidates with audit background are also welcome to apply
- Experience in payroll processing and knowledge of EPF, SOCSO, MyTax Portal and Malaysia employment legislation will be an advantage.
- Motivated and able to work independently or as a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Mandarin is vital for this role to deal with mandarin speaking counterparts.
