Job summary

Tap Growth ai in Malaysia seeks an Account cum HR (Mandarin Speaker) to manage client accounting portfolios and support HR/payroll for local and international clients. This role requires strong Mandarin proficiency and the ability to work in a fast-paced advisory environment.

The candidate will handle monthly payroll processing, liaise with EPF/SOCSO authorities, and assist in tax-related tasks while contributing to client onboarding and development efforts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Finance/Accounting or professional accounting qualification.
• 2–3 years experience in accounting firm; fresh graduates welcome.
• Payroll processing experience and knowledge of EPF, SOCSO, MyTax Portal and Malaysian employment law is an advantage.
• Able to work independently or in a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Mandarin is essential to interact with Mandarin-speaking counterparts.

Responsibilities

• Accountancy: manage client accounts, prepare unaudited/audited financial statements, and perform book-keeping and bank reconciliations.
• HR support: process payroll for clients and liaise with statutory bodies, assisting in compliance.
• Handle client inquiries and provide updates on changes in Malaysia's labour legislation and statutory requirements.
• Drive business development by onboarding external payroll clients and following up with prospects.
