Our Client: An International Accounting & Advisory Firm | Full-time

Monthly salary: Up to MYR 7,000 (negotiable, commensurate with experience)

About Our Client

Our client is an established international advisory firm providing accounting, tax and corporate services to businesses across multiple markets. This Kuala Lumpur-based role works closely with the firm's Singapore team to deliver accounting and reporting for Singapore-incorporated clients.

What You Will Do

• Prepare full sets of accounts for Singapore-incorporated clients, including bookkeeping, bank and balance sheet reconciliations, and supporting schedules, for review by the Singapore team
• Prepare monthly and quarterly management accounts and year-end financial reporting packs in accordance with Singapore FRS / SFRS(I)
• Prepare audit schedules and supporting documentation, and assist in responding to auditor queries under the direction of the Singapore team
• Prepare draft Singapore corporate tax computations and GST returns under supervision (full training provided; prior Singapore tax knowledge is not required)
• Maintain client accounting records across multiple platforms and support client onboarding and data migration onto Xero
• Support the Singapore team on ad-hoc client deliverables, reconciliations and reporting requests

What We Are Looking For

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline
• Minimum 4–5 years of full-set accounting experience
• Hands‑on, current experience with Xero and MYOB (essential)
• Exposure to SQL Accounting, AutoCount, Microsoft Dynamics, Odoo or SAP is a strong advantage, as is the ability to pick up new systems quickly
• Sound knowledge of bookkeeping procedures, double-entry principles and financial reporting standards
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills and working proficiency in Microsoft Office and Outlook
• Fluent written and spoken English to correspond directly with colleagues and clients in Singapore
• Proficiency in Mandarin (written and spoken) is required, as the role involves communicating with Mandarin‑speaking clients and stakeholders
• Strong organisational and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to manage competing deadlines across multiple clients
• Ability to handle confidential client information with strict discretion and in line with applicable data protection requirements
• Malaysian citizens or candidates with a valid right to work in Malaysia (work permit sponsorship is not available for this role)
