Job summary

Aglience Consulting Pte Ltd is seeking an accounting professional based in Melaka to handle full sets of accounts, GST and compliance for Singapore-based clients. You will perform month-, quarter-, and year-end closings, bank reconciliations, and support payroll, tax, and audits.

You will prepare timely financial reports, work closely with clients, and coach junior team members. Excellent English, strong client relations, and a proactive mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or ACCA (or equivalent).
• 3+ years accounting/outsourcing experience; Big 4 with audit experience welcomed.
• Strong English language and communication skills.
• Good interpersonal and client relationship abilities.
• Meticulous, organized, proactive and able to work under tight deadlines.
• Proficient in MS Office; knowledge of XERO and QuickBooks is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Handle full sets of accounts including consolidation.
• Manage GST and compliance matters for clients.
• Perform month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close, including bank reconciliations.
• Assist payroll administration and provide tax/audit support.

Job description

Handle Singapore-based clients. Company's HQ is in Singapore.

Handle full sets of accounts (including consolidation accounts), GST and compliance matters.

Conduct month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes to verify all entries have been created and posted, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and cohesiveness of information including performing bank reconciliation

Assist to maintain and administer accounting and payroll administration, as well as provide tax and audit support for the portfolio of clients

Timely preparation of accounts and financial reports to comply with the clients’ policies and statutory requirements.

Work closely with clients and manage their expectations

Coaching other team members through sharing experience and knowledge appropriately

Any other ad hoc duties as required

Requirements

• Good Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, ACCA, or other equivalent professional qualifications.
• Candidates with relevant 3 years or more accounting/outsourcing working experience are welcome to apply.
• Big 4 applicants with audit experience are welcome to apply.
• Good command of the English language and communication skills
