Job summary

HDL SOLUTIONS SDN BHD is seeking an Account Assistant – Accounts Payable to join our Finance team. You will manage day-to-day AP tasks, process supplier invoices, payments and reconciliations, and ensure accuracy and timeliness.

The ideal candidate has a Diploma/Degree in Accounting or Finance, basic accounting knowledge, proficiency in Excel, and familiarity with AutoCount is a plus. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full Accounts Payable process from invoice receipt to payment.
• Verify supplier invoices against Purchase Orders, Delivery Orders and other supporting documents.
• Ensure invoices are properly reviewed, coded and recorded in the accounting system.
• Prepare payment vouchers and payment schedules for management approval.
• Monitor AP ageing and ensure payments are made according to agreed payment terms.
• Perform supplier statement reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain proper filing and documentation of invoices and payment records.
• Liaise with suppliers regarding invoices, statements, payments and account discrepancies.
• Assist in month-end closing activities and prepare AP-related schedules and supporting documents for monthly reporting.

Account Assistant– Accounts Payable (AP)

We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Account Assistant – Accounts Payable (AP) to join our Finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the company's day-to-day Accounts Payable function, ensuring that supplier invoices, payments, reconciliations and supporting documents are processed accurately and on a timely basis. This role is suitable for someone who is organised, hands-on, comfortable working with numbers and wants to develop into a well-rounded finance professional.

Key responsibilities

Manage the full Accounts Payable process from invoice receipt to payment.

Verify supplier invoices against Purchase Orders, Delivery Orders and other supporting documents.

Ensure invoices are properly reviewed, coded and recorded in the accounting system.
