Job summary

Abang UsedCar Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking a detail-oriented Account Finance professional to support daily financial operations, including accounts payable/receivable, invoicing, and bank reconciliations. You will work closely with internal teams to streamline processes and improve cashflow.

The role requires numerical aptitude, familiarity with SQL, and strong negotiation and problem-solving skills. You will contribute to the Finance and Admin Department and help maintain accurate ledgers.

Qualifications

• Handling accounts payable/receivable, invoicing, and bank reconciliations.
• Familiarity with SQL and accounting processes.
• Strong numerical aptitude and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist to handle all accounting, clerical, and administrative functions of the Finance and Admin Department
• Keep thorough record of business transactions and enter data into the general ledger
• Handle data entry, matching of accounting documents, and day-to-day accounting operations for cross-company
• Manage sales and cash reconciliation to ensure bookkeeping is up to date
• Assist with cheque/online payments for rental/utilities and other disbursements
• Assist with accounts receivable/payable functions
• Ensure all records and documents are properly filed and kept for reference

We are looking for a highly motivated and target driven Account Finance to be part of our team. You'll play a crucial role in driving the company growth together.

What do we need from you?

Good attitude and responsible character. Very important needed

Independent with persuasive interpersonal skills and results-driven.

Good with number and SQL software system

Exhibit strong negotiation and problem solving skills.

Computer literate and numerate

Handle basic accounting tasks including accounts payable/receivable, invoicing, and bank reconciliations.

Collaborate with internal teams to streamline processes and enhance operational efficiency.

Know about cashflow and financial management

Responsibility

Assist to handle all accounting, clerical, and administrative functions of the Finance and Admin Department

Keeping a thorough record of business transactions and entering data from daily work logs into the company's general ledger

Handle accounting data entry, matching of accounting documents, and other day-to-day operations of accounting functions for the cross-company

Manage sales and cash reconciliation in ensuring bookkeeping is up to date day to day.

Assist with the preparation of cheque/online payment for rental/utilities and other disbursements

Assist with account receivable/payable-related functions

Ensure all accounting records and documents are properly filed, labeled, and kept for future reference
