DATAJASA PLUS SDN. BHD. in Kuching, Malaysia, is seeking a Finance Assistant to handle daily transactions, invoices, payments, and receivables, ensuring vendor payments are timely and accurate.
The role supports the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, maintains records, assists audits, and coordinates with other departments to strengthen financial controls; diploma holders with 1 year of experience are encouraged to apply.
Handle daily transactions including processing invoices, issuing payments, following up on receivables, and ensuring timely collections and vendor payments.
Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. Ensure proper documentation and compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and audit requirements.
Assist in the preparation of financial reports, including profit & loss statements, balance sheets, and supporting schedules.
Support budget tracking by monitoring departmental expenses, identifying discrepancies, and assisting in variance analysis.
Maintain accurate financial records, perform data entry, update accounting systems, and ensure all documents are properly filed and organized.
Provide general administrative support to the finance department, including document preparation, filing, and coordination with internal teams.
Work closely with finance team members and liaise with other departments to support financial operations and reporting needs.
Assist in audits, support special projects, and contribute ideas to improve financial processes and efficiency.
Prioritize and manage multiple companies accounting effectively, ensuring deadlines are met without compromising accuracy.
Job Requirements:
Diploma in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field.
Minimum of 1 year of experience is required. Prior experience in financial support roles or relevant internships is highly preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, financial software and other financial tools.
Strong numerical and analytical skills.
Systematic, dependable and can work independently with minimum supervision.
Integrity and professionalism in handling financial information.
