1Care Consortium Sdn Bhd in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, is seeking a detail-oriented junior accountant to handle the full set of accounts, prepare monthly financial reports, and monitor cash flow.

You will assist in budget preparation, liaise with auditors and tax agents, and prepare board papers while ensuring accuracy and timely reporting. Strong Excel skills and familiarity with AutoCount/UBS are advantageous.

Handle the full set of accounts, including preparation of monthly accounts and financial reports

Perform bank reconciliation and monitor the company's cash flow and bank balances

Prepare monthly management reports and financial information for management and shareholders

Assist in budget preparation, financial analysis and monitoring of company expenses

Manage accounts payable, invoicing and payments to vendors and service providers

Monitor FD accounts and other financial matters of the company

Assist with payroll and statutory payment monitoring

Liaise with auditors, tax agents, company secretary, banks and other external parties when required

Maintain proper accounting records and supporting documents

Assist in preparing Board papers and financial information for management meetings

About you

Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field

1–2 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance is preferred

Good understanding of full set accounting and basic financial reporting

Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel

Familiar with accounting software such as AutoCount, UBS or other accounting systems will be an advantage

Strong attention to detail, accuracy and organisational skills

Able to work independently and as part of a team

Good communication and interpersonal skills

Willing to work in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah
