Job summary

GO Noodle House in Kajang, Malaysia is seeking an accounting assistant to support monthly reporting and day-to-day accounting functions. The ideal candidate has at least SPM and can learn quickly, work independently, and stay organized.

Responsibilities include monitoring cash positions, performing bank reconciliations, preparing payment advices and cheques, and managing accounts receivable and payable. You will handle the full set of accounts and keep records up to date, with additional tasks

Qualifications

• SPM qualification is required.
• Proficient in MS Excel.
• Experience with accounting software is an advantage.
• Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
• Able to learn new skills quickly.
• Organized and disciplined; capable of working individually or in a group.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for preparation of monthly reports and other daily accounting functions.
• To monitor cash positions of the Companies, both daily and monthly, e.g., bank reconciliation, petty cash records.
• To prepare payment advice and cheques.
• To monitor accounts receivable and payables, payments and collections.
• Handling the full set of accounts and able to manage multiple accounts.
• To ensure data and records are kept up to date.
• Responsible for other accounting-related tasks.
• Other ad-hoc job-related tasks as required by the superior.

• Familiar with Microsoft Office - Excel
