Job summary

Revenue Valley Sdn Bhd, a hospitality group with The Manhattan Fish Market and Tony Roma’s brands in Malaysia, seeks a detail-oriented Accounts Payable/Finance Assistant in Kuala Lumpur. You will handle month-end closing, prepare internal financial reports, and ensure accurate supplier invoicing and coding.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of relevant accounting experience; fresh graduates welcome.
• Familiar with accounting principles, reconciliations and financial reporting.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems.
• Detail-oriented, organized and able to meet reporting deadlines.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle month-end and year-end closing activities for assigned brands.
• Prepare and compile internal financial reports, including Accounts Payable and General Ledger reports, to support management’s expense monitoring and decision-making.
• Review and ensure supplier invoices are accurately coded to the relevant general ledger accounts and cost centres.
• Liaise with vendors and internal departments to resolve invoice discrepancies and payment-related matters.
• Perform reconciliation of creditors’ statements and follow up on outstanding items to ensure accurate recording of costs.
• Monitor and review monthly inventory reports, including verification and reconciliation of closing stock balances with accounting records.
• Maintain proper and organised accounts payable documentation and filing for audit and reference purposes.
• Assist with other accounting, finance and administrative duties as assigned by the Immediate Superior or Head of Department.

Job description

Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems.
