Job summary

YSK Freshmart Sdn. Bhd. is seeking an Accounts Assistant – AP/AR & Bank Reconciliation to support our Finance team in Kuala Lumpur. The role covers day-to-day accounts payable and accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and assisting with monthly close and reports.

Mandarin-speaking ability is required for day-to-day communication with stakeholders. On-site work in Cheras Utama, Kuala Lumpur, with a monthly salary ranging from RM2,500 to RM3,500, depending on experience and suitability.

Qualifications

• Certificate in LCCI or Diploma in Accounting is required
• Experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable preferred
• Fresh graduates or interns with strong accounting foundation are welcome
• Basic knowledge of bank reconciliation and month-end closing
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel

Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day accounts payable and accounts receivable activities, including invoice, payment and collection records
• Assist with monthly account closing and ensure accounting entries and supporting documents are complete and accurate
• Prepare and maintain bank reconciliation schedules and follow up on outstanding items
• Assist with monthly management reports and basic analysis of management account information
• Maintain fixed asset schedules and stock records
• Monitor inter-company balances and assist with reconciliations
• Support recording and payment monitoring of service tax for relevant companies
• Liaise with bankers, auditors and tax agents when required

Accounts Assistant – AP/AR & Bank Reconciliation

Join our Finance team YSK Freshmart operates in the non-halal product sector. Candidates should be comfortable working in this business environment. Mandarin-speaking ability is required for day-to-day communication with relevant stakeholders.

What you will do

Handle day-to-day accounts payable and accounts receivable activities, including invoice, payment and collection records.

Assist with monthly account closing and ensure accounting entries and supporting documents are complete and accurate.

Prepare and maintain bank reconciliation schedules and follow up on outstanding items.

Assist with monthly management reports and basic analysis of management account information.

Maintain fixed asset schedules and stock records.

Monitor inter-company balances and assist with related reconciliations.

Support the recording and payment monitoring of service tax for the relevant companies.

Liaise with bankers, auditors and tax agents when required.

What we are looking for

Certificate in LCCI, Diploma in Accounting, Finance or an equivalent qualification.

Experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, bookkeeping or general accounting is preferred.

Candidates with relevant internship experience or fresh graduates with a strong accounting foundation are welcome to apply.

Basic knowledge of bank reconciliation, month-end closing and accounting documentation.

Computer literate with good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

Mandarin-speaking ability is required for work-related communication.

Able to work on-site in Cheras Utama, Kuala Lumpur. Own transport is an advantage.

Monthly salary of RM2,500 – RM3,500, depending on experience and suitability.
