Job summary

Supreme Asia Engineering Sdn Bhd in Iskandar Puteri, Johor Bahru, seeks a detail-oriented Account Assistant with 1–2 years of accounting experience to join our growing finance team. The role involves handling AP/AR, reconciliations, data entry, expenses, and month-end support in a collaborative environment.

You will work with MS Excel and accounting software to maintain accurate records, ensure timely invoicing, and support financial reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, LCCI, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software.

Responsibilities

• Accounts Payable & Receivable: process vendor invoices, match POs, prepare payment vouchers and assist invoicing.
• Perform bank, supplier, and petty cash reconciliations.
• Record keeping and data entry: maintain accurate financial records in the accounting system.
• Verify and process staff expense claims and reimbursements.
• Assist with month-end closing activities and basic reporting.

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Accounts Payable & Receivable: Process incoming vendor invoices, match purchase orders, prepare payment vouchers, and assist with customer invoicing and payment follow-ups.
• Reconciliations: Perform regular bank, supplier, and petty cash reconciliations.
• Record Keeping & Data Entry: Maintain accurate financial records, input transactions into the accounting software, and keep files up to date.
• Expenses & Claims: Verify and process staff expense claims and reimbursement requests.
• Month-End Support: Assist the Finance Manager/Accountant with month-end closing activities and basic reporting.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, LCCI, or a related field.
• Experience: 1–2 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software
• Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail, analytical mindset, and excellent communication skills.
