Job summary

Manpower Malaysia is seeking a Network Operation Centre (NOC) Shift Engineer to monitor and manage critical facility systems, including power, cooling, and fire suppression, ensuring uptime and availability. You will perform eyes on glass, analyze alarms, and coordinate with engineers and vendors to resolve incidents.

The role requires a degree in IT/CS, at least 3 years in NOC or data centre environments, and familiarity with network hardware, ITIL practices, and 24/7 on-call rotations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in a NOC or data centre environment.
• Experience with network monitoring tools and ITIL practices.
• Familiarity with routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage power, cooling, and fire suppression systems to ensure uptime.
• Perform eyes-on-glass for alarms and analyze incidents to determine root causes.
• Coordinate with engineering, system admins, and vendors to resolve issues.
• Maintain up-to-date network documentation and SOPs.
• Participate in change management and shift handovers.
