Job summary

JLL in Malaysia’s Perak region seeks a Data Centre NOC Engineer to oversee critical network components, monitor systems, troubleshoot incidents, and manage changes with minimal disruption.

You will work with cross-functional teams, maintain comprehensive network documentation, and perform routine maintenance to optimize performance while advancing skills and staying current with industry best practices.

Qualifications

• 3 years Data Centre NOC Engineer experience or equivalent.
• Knowledge of networking protocols and hardware.
• Experience with monitoring tools and incident handling.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Data Centre NOC operations for network, servers and telecom equipment.
• Monitor network systems, devices and infrastructure and respond to alerts/incidents.
• Troubleshoot network problems and perform root cause analysis.
• Handle and manage network incidents with cross-functional teams.
• Perform routine network maintenance and firmware/configuration updates.
• Maintain accurate network documentation and diagrams.
• Participate in change management to minimize service disruption.
• Collaborate with security team to investigate and mitigate threats.
• Stay updated on emerging network technologies and best practices.
