Job summary

NTT Global Data Centers in Malaysia seeks an Associate Critical Facilities Maintenance Engineer to join our operations team in Cyberjaya. You will be the first line of defense for operational reliability and 24/7 facility uptime, managing critical systems and coordinating with vendors.

Key activities include monitoring environment systems, responding to alarms, troubleshooting incidents, and maintaining drawings and asset records.

Qualifications

At least 1 year of experience in maintenance or facilities functions.
Able to perform alternate 12-hour shift (9am–9pm, 9pm–9am).
Malaysian citizen.
Willingness to commute to Cyberjaya.

Responsibilities

Daily monitoring of Environment Monitoring System (EMCS) including chillers, pumps, AHUs, CRAHs, FCUs, leak detection, fire alarms, VESDA and UPS/Generators.
Ensure Data Hall temperature and humidity are within range.
Respond to on-site equipment alarms.
Troubleshoot incidents per SOP/EOP and escalate according to process.
Escort and oversee vendors to ensure compliant, safe data center activities.
Prepare and submit monthly/weekly electrical and mechanical consumption reports.
Maintain up-to-date drawings and asset/inventory records.
Monitor tickets and provide user support via portal or email per SLA.
Perform daily tasks such as server tape insertion and remote hand support.
Involvement in DC-related audit processes.
