Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a capable IT support technician to provide 1st level POS and IT hardware/software support for HQ and outlets. You will install, configure, update, and troubleshoot computer hardware, software, and peripherals to keep systems running smoothly.

You will maintain and support the information systems including CCTV, IP phones, antivirus, email, firewall, networking, and databases, while researching and testing new hardware and software for executive management.

Qualifications

• Professional Certificate or Diploma in Information Technology.
• Able to work independently.
• Willing to work Saturdays and Sundays if necessary.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1st level POS and IT hardware/software support to HQ/outlet users.
• Install, configure, update, and troubleshoot computer hardware, software, and peripherals.
• Maintain and support information systems: PCs, servers, CCTV, IP phones, antivirus, email, firewall, networking, and databases.
• Research, test, and evaluate new hardware and software for executive management.
• Provide feedback to improve workflows.
• Standby/on-call for IT issues after hours.
• Maintain good housekeeping for IT hardware.
• Additional tasks as assigned by supervisor.
