IT SAP Business Analyst - Supply Chain
Job summary
A leading energy solutions provider is seeking a Senior SAP IT Business Analyst in Mexicali to support their Supply Chain department. You will work closely with local and global IT teams to drive key initiatives, optimize systems, and enhance processes. The ideal candidate has over 10 years of experience in SAP SCM, proficiency in SAP IBP and the ability to effectively communicate and solve complex problems.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of SAP SCM Experience with Planning systems.
- Experience in design, config, testing, and training of SAP IBP modules.
- Ability to solve complex problems and work in a demanding environment.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and define business requirements; recommend best practice solutions.
- Configure SAP to enhance business processes and meet objectives.
- Maintain SAP and related solutions for efficient operations.

We have an immediate need for a Senior SAP IT Business Analyst supporting our Supply Chain department in our growing factory in Mexicali, Mexico. This will be a key role partnering with the global IT organization and local leaders in supply chain to drive key initiatives to support factory usage, system optimization, and technical development.
- Assists user community in analyzing and defining business requirements; identifies functionality gaps and recommends best practice solutions, creates process flows and detailed solution designs.
- Configures SAP and related business systems to enhances business processes, implement improvements, enhance system scope, and meet business objectives.
- Analyzes, debugs and maintains SAP and related solutions to ensure correct and efficient operations.
- Responsible for completion of individual or team tasks as assigned by project manager or supervisor.
- Performs work in accordance with defined IT and compliance processes.
- Pursues training that supports and enhances knowledge of specific business functional area.
- 10+ years of SAP SCM Experience with Planning systems including SAP IBP (SAP S4 experience a plus)
- Design, Config, Testing, and Training of business processes related to SAP IBP modules (Supply & Response, S&OP, etc.)
- Real Time Interface experience between SAP IBP and S4 Hana
- Experience supporting SAP ERP system and related business systems.
- Experience / expertise in mapping business process; use of MS Visio or similar product.
- Ability to communicate effectively.
- Ability to solve complex problems.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Ability to work in a fast paced, demanding environment.
- Works in a standard office environment utilizing standard office equipment.
- Works in team and individual environments.
- May work weekends and overtime when necessary.
- Ability to travel as needed, both domestic and international.
