We have an exciting opportunity for an exceptional individual to work supporting one of our clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade backend systems using Java.
• Build and consume RESTful APIs for seamless integration across services.
• Work with distributed technologies including Kafka, Hazelcast, and Vert.x.
• Manage data persistence using Oracle and/or MS SQL databases.
• Containerize and deploy microservices using Kubernetes.
• Implement and maintain functional testing automation frameworks.
• Architect secure gateways with robust authentication and authorization mechanisms.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to design and implement CI/CD pipelines.
• Apply GenAI tools and techniques to enhance backend functionality and automation.
• Participate in sprint planning, code reviews, and cross-functional team discussions.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in Java backend development.
• Strong expertise in REST APIs, Kafka, Hazelcast, and Kubernetes.
• Experience with Vert.x or similar reactive frameworks.
• Proficiency in Oracle and/or MS SQL databases.
• Hands-on experience with functional testing automation frameworks.
• Solid understanding of secure coding practices and gateway security.
• Experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines.
• Practical experience with GenAI tools and frameworks.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the payments domain is a strong plus.
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
