A logistics company in Guadalajara is seeking an Imports Coordinator to handle customer orders and logistics processes. The ideal candidate should have experience in import/export, strong communication skills, and proficiency in MS Office. Responsibilities include processing orders, ensuring quality assurance, and managing relationships with warehouses. Formación

  • Experience in an Import/Export, Customer Service, and local logistics environment is preferred.

  • High level of initiative and extremely detail-oriented.

Responsabilidades

  • Receive and process orders/purchase write up.
  • Track and distribute orders and shipments.
  • Validate Quality Assurance approval of vendor/item.
  • Facilitate product releases with 3rd party warehouses.
  • Manage relationships with warehouses.

Imports Coordinator (On site - Midtown Jalisco, GDL)

Responsible for servicing external and internal customer needs and proactively participating in the operation process.

Key Activities and general responsibilities
  • Receive and process orders/purchase write up
  • Follow up with internal or external customers to clarify orders/purchase write up if needed
  • Communicate orders internally according to the established process
  • Assure ownership of operational costs
  • Validate Quality Assurance approval of vendor/item and certification link
Logistics (Outbound)
  • Responsible for tracking and order distribution
  • Facilitate product releases and pick-ups with 3rd party warehouses as needed
  • Arrange domestic truck freight with our carrier partners
  • Prepare appropriate documentation for customers
  • Verify and track orders and shipments
  • Ensure that all processes and procedures are completed following established guidelines
  • Manage relationships with the warehouses
  • In the case of an inventory discrepancy, logistics team leaders confer with team members and across departments to determine the source of the issue and resolve it
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
  • Support Account Managers / Traders with specific accounts
  • Hold an understanding of products/commodities to be able to answer most customer/traders’ inquiries
  • Communicate issues/challenges to the Trade team
  • Support Sr. Trader, Sales Executives, and Commodities/Account Specialists in efforts to gain and retain customers/vendors including logging appropriate information into CRM
  • Create new customer/supplier relations in system
Knowledge required
  • Experience in an Import/Export, Customer Service, and local logistics environment is preferred
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Knowledge of Contact Management Systems

  • Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm or 9:00am-6:00pm (daylight saving time)
