Job Title: Quality Engineering Lead
Brief Summary:
Infosys is seeking QA Engineering Lead (SDET) role. In this role you will be a core member of the software development test team and participates in the complete development lifecycle process. Develops, implements, and sustains test automation scripts (for both UI and API using Selenium and Postman respectively), processes, practices, and controls in support of customer facing digital applications including web and mobile app throughout the development and sustainment lifecycles. SDET resources must be able to create high quality, maintainable, and performant code for automated test cases and the frameworks to execute and report them.

Job responsibilities

• Closely coordinates with both Dev and Ops regarding testing practices and ensuring quality thresholds are met.
• Participate in user story grooming, understand requirements, identifying if there are any gaps.
• Prepare test cases, automate, execute, triage defects, review and status reporting.
• Ensures automated tests are integrated into the Continuous Delivery Pipeline.
• Feed the automation scripts to regression suite by mapping them with UAT regression suite for page level and E2E level.
• Test Script reviews, removing flakiness in scripting, identifying required data for regression needs if not already exists, identifying causes for failure rate working closely with automation architect to find solutions and implementing.
• The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.

Required Skills

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution, will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• Must have 4 to 6 years of experience in Testing/QA or QE.
• Candidate must have SDLC lifecycle experience and 3+ years of automation experience for web, mobile, and web services.
• Strong programming experience - Java, Maven, Javascript, Typescript.
• Hands on automation scripting experience using Selenium, Cucumber, etc.
• Strong software testing experience and exposure to QE concepts across test planning, scripting and execution.
• Agile development mindset approach with an experience using Jira and Agile Methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban or Xtreme Programming.
• Excellent analytical, verbal and written communication in English.
• Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment and with team across different time zones.
• Candidate must be located within Guadalajara, Jalisco since in-person attendance at the office is required.

Preferred Skills

• 3+ years of Solid Experience in Automation with Selenium WebDriver (Frameworks like Cucumber).
• 2+ years of Solid Experience in any OOPs such as Java, Python.
• 2+ years of solid experience with database management systems such as MySQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL or SQL Server.
