Job summary

Jabil in Mexico is seeking a motivated professional to train as a Workcell Manager and lead a manufacturing cell.

You will drive production plans, mentor team members, ensure compliance with ISO9000, QS9000 and ISO14000, and push continuous improvement to reduce waste and defects.

This position offers growth in a global manufacturing environment with emphasis on cost control and quality performance.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree required; electronic manufacturing preferred.
• Minimum 5 years experience in at least two of Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering, Materials, Finance or HR.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Train to be a Workcell Manager and lead the cell team.
• Provide leadership and motivation to achieve project goals.
• Ensure adherence to manufacturing specs and production program.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste and defects.
• Plan work to meet production programs at the lowest cost.
• Control costs affecting the workcell and ensure ISO compliance.
• Contribute to budget development and performance reviews.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
