Job summary

Jabil in Mexico is seeking a Senior Purchasing Lead to guide and administer the Purchasing Staff within the Workcell, supporting the development and implementation of supply chain strategies, ensuring materials meet demand, and driving cost reductions.

You will recruit, train, and develop team members, manage performance, and coordinate with stakeholders to optimize material flow and supplier quality while upholding safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent with 3–5 years of purchasing experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Materials Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Recruit and interview Purchasing Staff and monitor turnover.
• Develop training curricula and coach Materials staff for excellence.
• Manage performance metrics and conduct regular staff evaluations.
• Define and implement a Materials strategy aligned with campus direction.
• Control costs and streamline processes to improve value.
