Job summary

The ideal candidate will have an engineering background and experience in high-volume electronics, with a track record of continuous improvement and strong analytical skills in logistics, budgeting, and quality systems.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree is required.
• At least 5 years of experience in Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering, Materials, Finance and HR in a high-volume electronics environment.
• Or a combination of education, experience and training.

Responsibilities

• Train to be a Workcell Manager.
• Lead and motivate cell team members to achieve project goals.
• Ensure the workcell team clearly knows goals and follows production specifications and the program.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste, re-work, inspections, and customer returns/complaints.
• Plan cell work to meet production programs in quantity and mix at the lowest cost.
• Strictly control costs affecting the workcell.
• Ensure ISO9000, QS9000, and ISO14000 compliance within the cell.
